During preparatory works for the 12 new bungalows being constructed for Glenurquhart Care Partnership, a second prehistoric beaker burial cist was discovered on the site bringing to a total of three now found in the immediate vicinity. The first phase of the private housing development which is being provided by “Rural Projects And Developments Ltd”, is currently going thru’ the planning process. This phase will consist of 24no homes for sale to the public.
Highland Council have advised that the street name for the 20 no homes currently under construction for Highland Housing Association and Albyn Housing Society will be:- 1 to 20 Dal of Borlum, Lewiston, Drumnadrochit, Inverness, IV63 6AD. This translates to Dail a’ Bhòrlaim in the Gaelic.
