Works to form the new Roundabout and access road from the A82 are essentially complete but subject to possible minor changes that could come out of the ongoing Transport Scotland audit process.
Out with our works and our control, Transport Scotland are currently promoting an extension of the existing 30mph zone to take it out to the limits of the village. Until this has been finalised and the permanent signs erected, the temporary speed restriction signs currently in place to both sides of our A82 works will remain.
15no Homes for Albyn Housing Society and 5no Homes for Highland Housing Association (1 to 20 Dal of Borlum)
Works on these homes are progressing well with the final works to the fabric of the buildings to be completed this week allowing the last section of scaffold to be taken down. Internally the fit out and finishes are progressing with power now on to all properties and water due to be connected next week. Works to gardens, parking and access roads are also ongoing.
Completion of these houses with handover to both our Clients is programmed for September 2018.
Within these houses, Albyn Housing Society have 4no properties which will be available to buy through the LIFT New Supply Shared Equity scheme. Details of these can be found in our post earlier today on this website.
Highland Housing Alliance also have 5no homes available for “Mid Market Rent”. Details of these can be found on the post to this website of the 2nd of March 2018.
4no Homes for The Highland Council (1a to 1d Balmacaan Road)
The structural kits to all four houses are now complete with the installation of windows & doors, roofing and external cladding all ongoing. Internal plumbing and electrical works are also ongoing.
These homes are programmed for handover to the Council late 2018.
